What kind of care do you need?

You may need to go to the ER if you are experiencing any of these symptoms.

Head Trauma with

  • Loss of consciousness
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Blood-thinning medication
  • Increased confusion
  • Seizure
  • Vomiting

Chest Pain with

  • History of heart attack
  • Pain that travels down left arm
  • Shortness of breath
  • Concern for heart cause

Allergic reaction with

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Throat swelling

Trauma with

  • Exposed bone
  • Suspected tendon injury
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Head involvement

High fever with

  • Children less than 3 months old
  • Immunocompromised children
  • Temperature over 104 degrees in adults

Sharp abdominal pain with

  • Pregnancy
  • Fever
  • Debilitating

Extreme dehydration

Uncontrolled sugar with

  • Level over 400
  • Nausea/vomiting
  • Confusion/weakness

Uncontrolled blood pressure

  • over180/120 with additional symptoms

Flu symptoms that are severe    
Flu symptoms that are moderate    
Foreign object removal    
Headache that is severe, or sudden which is not your normal    
Head wound where there is loss of consciousness, or if you are on a blood thinner    
Head wound with no loss of consciousness    
Nausea that is associated with head trauma

Rash or skin concern accompanied with a fever
